When you fill out a membership form, you give the Boulder Writers Alliance certain information about yourself. BWA does not sell or give this information to any other group. However, in the interest of publicizing members' skills, BWA does make some of this information publicly available -- unless you tell BWA not to. Here are the details:
All this information goes into the BWA online database and Member Directory, which is available to the general public. This Member Directory is available as a printed book, and also on BWA's web site at http://www.bwa.org/membdir/. If you don't want to be included in the database or Directory, make this choice on the Membership Form.

Note that personal e-mail addresses and mailto links are no longer used on this site, and any BWA functional e-mail addresses that are made visible on our Web pages are shown with spaces before and after the @ sign. This is being done to protect member privacy and alleviate address harvesting by spammers.
Most members choose to enter their e-mail address with Yahoo!Groups and subscribe to the group's e-mail list, since this is BWA's primary communication means. If you don't want to belong to the BWA e-mail list, be sure to check the BWA web site regularly for news and upcoming events: http://www.bwa.org
If you remain on the BWA Internet mailing list, do not distribute the names of your fellow list members. People who violate this policy will be removed from the mailing list.
A link to the Web page URL you list is added to the BWA Members on the Web page at http://www.bwa.org/motw.
BWA uses this only to send occasional mailings to members. Your street address does not appear in the BWA online database or Member Directory, and is not available to the general public.
Please send e-mail to info @ bwa.org.
